Rhianna Lily’s Presents
I really wanted Rhianna Lily involved this Christmas. We all wanted her involved.
But I also wanted everyone to have something special that was just for Rhianna Lily.
I went off and started a little project on my own, that was just for our little girl, presents to everyone that mattered to her.
I didn’t want to do anything to elaborate, and I tried to be as sensitive as I could.
In my heart I really wanted to give everyone a massive great big photo of Rhianna so that she could be put up in every house of every family member we have. But I knew that wasn’t possible. I knew that some people find it too hard to look at her picture, and it was blooming hard to admit that was not the present that everyone would want. I toyed with just putting her feet on something, but knew that even that could be too upsetting. So instead I just went for a heart.
I made all the hearts from Salt Dough, painted them all red, and then wrote her name on them.
I then printed off all her birth details, date, weight and time and put a little saying underneath and stuck this all onto a plaque for people to hang in their houses.

It was a perfect present for everyone, and one that meant so much to me personally.
Once the presents were made I then really struggled with the tags once they were wrapped. I didn’t want to put that they were from Rhianna, it felt a little strange. But I really wanted to put that they were for her Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles. In the end I wrote, “To My Auntie and Uncle” “To My Nanny and Grandad” on the tags, with no from on. This made it easier for people to understand what it was.
Everyone loved them, I only did them for the adults. In years to come I will do her cousins one, and Baba will get something different as did her Daddy which I will blog about another day.
These really helped me personally. It meant she was really involved in Christmas and everyone spoke about her as they all got a present that was related to her. I was pleased and happy that every present meant so much to them all. They all loved them and I am happy that each and every one of them have something that is related to Rhianna Lily.
