There’s No Right Way
There’s no right way to grieve.

It is a hard thing to realise.
But it is the truth.
If you talk about your baby or child or any other loss every single day that is ok.
If you never mention them that is ok.
If you cry in public that is ok.
If you cry in secret that is ok.
If you scream and shout about your loss that is ok.
If you quietly just think about them that is ok.
There is no right way to do this.
There is no wrong way to do this.
Every single persons journey when it comes to grief is personal.
No two people grieve the same way.
Whether you are both the parents, both the siblings or both the cousins, aunts and uncles or grandparents.
You all do grief differently.
And that is ok.
It can totally cause issues at times.
But it is ok.
Mr L and I grieve so differently.
And our boys grieve so differently.
But none of us are right, and none of us are wrong.
We have different ways, we have different good days, we have different bad days and we have different triggers.
All of that is ok.
It doesn’t matter how we do it.
The only thing we can do is do what we need to do.
Don’t compare ourselves with each other.
Never feel guilty about what we need to do to get through that moment in time.
Never feel bad for talking, not talking, crying, not crying, being happy, being sad or any of it.
Never feel bad.
Do what you need to do that day.
And know that that is ok!
