Boo and Rhianna Lily
So last year we kept a big secret, the fact that we were having another baby.
Boo arrived on December the 3rd and was a great end to a really rubbish time in our lives. But it doesn’t mean that everything that happened disappeared.
That Rhianna Lily was forgotten.
That she never existed.
That we were now a family of four!
We will never be a family of four.
We will always be a family of five surviving as a family of four.
Always one missing
Always missing our little girl
We will never be a family of just boys
Because we aren’t we are a family of boys and Rhianna Lily, our little star.
I accept Rhianna will be mentioned less over the years
Ultimately her Daddy and I were the only ones that ever saw her
However
And its a big however
Boo will never replace her
He shouldn’t ever replace her, he is his own person in his own right and we love him for him.
We love Baba for him
And we love Rhianna for her
I am glad that he is a boy as I think a girl, would make it all the more complicated.
But to say “it’s great your now a family of four”
Or “your family is now complete”
Is wrong
We will never be a family of four
Our family will never be complete
We will always be missing one,
Always missing our little girl
And always and forever a family of five
We will never forget that
We didn’t just have Baba and Boo
We had three children Baba, Rhianna Lily and Boo
Baba went through the pain of loosing her
But Baba and Boo will go through life remembering her
After all she was and is their sister and will be forever!

I grew up knowing I had two older brothers who had died before I came along. Your boys will always know about Rhianna because you will talk to them about her. And I would ask you to talk all the time to them about their sister. Having just lost my mum I realise that although I knew about my brothers I didn’t KNOW about them. Little things like the colour of hair, who they looked like etc.
I can’t tell you how happy I am that you have Boo, but I also know that you must be going through all sorts of mixed up emotions of grief/sadness/joy. I am thinking if you all so very much x
Thank you so much, and thank you for your advice and I am so sorry about your mum xxx
