Hello Peacock

I have always loved peacocks. Something about a peacock is so magical and amazing.
They are stunning, beautiful and magnificent animals and something I am always in awe of when I see them.
Since loosing Rhianna they have become more magical.
More of a sign at times.
It doesn’t seem to matter where we go, it seems that if there is a peacock there it will find me.
It will stand near us and will open its feathers as wide as they can open and will flutter its spectacular feathers near us.
It’s like it’s a sign.
The first day I took Baba for a day out after loosing Rhianna we saw a peacock within minutes of arriving there and it didn’t seem to matter where we went, we just seemed to be followed and it brought so much ease.
Since that day every time I see a peacock I feel at ease.
Every time I see a peacock it opens its feathers spectacularly and puts on its display.
Somewhere it makes me feel like Rhianna is saying hi.
That everything is ok and she is ok.
A perfectly stunning animal for a perfectly stunning little girl.
And for a few moments a peace overcomes me and I feel at ease.
Something that doesn’t happen very often.
But I notice it when I see a peacock.
It makes me smile.
It makes me feel like I am not alone.
It makes me feel warm.
Like I am being told it’s ok.
And it makes me feel at ease.
Today was no different.
Seeing the peacock putting on its display it made me feel comfortable, happy and at ease.
And in that moment I knew that somewhere I need something to do with a peacock feather to remember Rhianna.
As for some reason I feel close to her whenever I am near one.
I don’t know why.
I don’t know how.
I just know it’s how I feel.
