That’s Half Term Over

Just like that, that’s the half term over.

And what a week it was.

I think it rained every single day at some point.

It was a rubbish week weather wise.

But we did have a week with Mr L at home, as the original plan was that we were going to go away in the caravan. We didn’t in the end as we weren’t sure what was happening with regards to the lockdown, circuit break.

So we decided to play it safe and stay at home, and to be honest a week in the caravan in that weather would not have been fun.

Instead we sorted out the house, we had days out and we all chilled.

It was definitely what we all needed.

It wasn’t the week we wanted but it was the week that was needed.

And both the boys loved it, so much so that neither of them wanted to go back to school this morning.

They were both still happy to be at home.

They like doing nothing, they like mooching and they were not impressed that it was finished and over with.

But even though they didn’t want to go back they both got up and were stars this morning and both got ready nice and easily for school this morning.

It is now back to as normal as it gets for a couple of days before the Lockdown 2.0 happens, and to be honest I am just taking each day as it comes and not planning anything too far in advance at the moment!

We are just going with the flow of each day at the moment.
