Secondary School

And what seems like a blink of an eye, this little 5lb 12oz boys Secondary School application has been made!

Next September a whole new chapter of his life will be starting, and he will be starting of on his first days at secondary school.

It seems only moments ago that we were looking at preschools for him, let alone applying to Primary Schools for him.

Secondary school is a huge leap. It is were you make huge decisions, not the biggest in your life I don’t believe that, but some of the biggest in their lives until that point.

It is where he will grow from child to teenager to nearly a man before he leaves.

And it is where we will all once again be learning a new way, and guide him through things that he will find tough, hard, and some things that he will find easier.

It is when he will take more and more steps to become his own man, and we will have to learn to guide and step back and let him grow.

And I am not going to pretend any of this is going to be easy.

It is something I have obviously known has been going to happen for a while.

But something I have truly tried to ignore for as long as possible.

His baby days are behind him, his youngster days are nearly gone, teenage years are coming and our little boy is growing up and I am not sure I am entirely ready for any of this!
