Fighting Our Corner

Nothing really prepares you for the grieve you feel for a child, nothing can prepare you ever!

Even if you have been through it no two people’s grieve are the same even if you are grieving the same child.

But there is one certain thing that the last eight months have taught me.

You can either give in to grieve completely, you can let it control you, encompass you and only live through your grieve.

Or you can fight.

It has been a tough choice to make, it seems easier to let the grieve over take you. You wake and think that there is no fight left and the easiest option is to be overcome with the pain.

But then something overtakes you, something that is much stronger than the pain of the grieve, and is much harder to resist, it is the urge to live, the urge to live your life for yourself and for your child.

Rhianna isn’t here we can never change that, in body! However in spirit Rhianna will never leave, she will never die the hole in our hearts are far to big they will never ever close. Where ever we go, whatever we do, whoever we are with Rhianna will be with us. She will be with her big brother Baba, and with all her future younger siblings where ever they go in life, and she will always be alive through us. That is what gives you the urge to fight and that is what keeps you going throughout all the hard times, and keeps you fighting your corner.

So for now and forever more however hard we find it we will be fighting our corner, our little tiny space, fighting it for us and fighting it for Rhianna.
