Do You See Her?

As your lying there fixated on something

Something that no one else can see

Do you see her?

As your chatting to thin air

Do you see her?

Do you feel her?

Do you know she’s there?

They say babies can see things

Things we can’t see

They say babies have an open mind

Let things in we all shut out

And it makes me wonder

As your lying there

Staring at that one spot

Smiling,

Talking,

Cooing

Laughing

Do you see something we don’t see?

Do you see her?
