Boo Is 11 Months Old

So today Boo turns 11 months.

The past 11 months have flown past and he is turning into a right little character.

He never shuts up and is always screaming, or shouting ‘guk’ at every opportunity, we have had a few ‘mamas’ and ‘dadas’ but nothing as of it has stuck it is just about the screaming!

Boo is a climber, and oh my have we had to adapt. Baba never once climbed. But Boo has been trying to climb the stairs before he could stand. He attempts to get the straps of the high chair to climb out of it and we have had to put the walker away as this was an easy target to climb out of.

Anything that can be climbed he is there.

He cruises around like a nutter, holding on to you, furniture or the dogs if they stay still long enough. All he wants to do is be on his feet. He is getting more and more confident as the days are going on and standing is happening for longer and longer, and we have had a couple of steps a couple of times but he prefers to mooch about holding your hand. His bouncing hasn’t stopped and he still loves to bounce whenever he can.

He loves spoons and can put them in his own mouth, food doesn’t go in but the spoon does, and he can hold his own bottle but will happily let you do instead. Lazy boy syndrome.

He will do anything to play with a ball and spends hours in Nannies kitchen with Baba rolling a ball around, he has also just developed a skill for throwing it as well. And loves throwing them in the air and watching them bounce.

Clapping isn’t happening, he looks at us like we are nutters every time we clap and just shouts at us instead. I think he thinks we are complete and utter freaks.

He very rarely waves, he can do it, but chooses not too most of the time out of laziness I think.

He has great control of his pincher grasp and can find the smallest tiniest crumb in his high chair to pick up, he seems to be a left-handed boy, that is his dominant hand for sure.

He loves cuddles and puts his head down for you to kiss you. And his favourite thing in the whole world is to blow raspberries, if he can do that then he is completely happy.

He adores Baba and really hates him being at school, and is still demanding at those times.

We are still going through separation anxiety but I think he is understanding more that we are coming back. It is something we are still working on for sure.

He is thriving with food, loves everything except spag bowl and is a total star at eating to be honest. He sits well, he eats well and it is lovely. He is now nearly 25lbs so has finally caught up and is no longer classed as too small!

He giggles, he is happy, loving and loves a cuddle, and currently he just wants to explore everything and anything.
