A Week of Ordinary Moments
This week the boys have been on their first week of Easter Holidays and it has been a pretty busy week to be honest.
We started the week with BB, his cousin and myself going to watch Dumbo and Boo going out for the day with his auntie and cousin.
I had high expectations for Dumbo and although it is very different to the animation I totally loved it but was pleased that I didn’t take Boo as it would not be a film be would like at the moment.
Tuesday and Wednesday we pottered about having quiet days. As the end of the week was a busy few days.
We went to the beach on Thursday.

Even though I thought it was very cold, sunny but cold the boys were determined to have a paddle in the water they have clearly waited too long over the winter to get their feet in the sea.

As soon as we were on the stones they had their shoes off and were in the sea.

It was clearly cold though as neither one of them actually took their socks off and were paddling in the sea with their socks on the nutters!
Friday we went off to a local little farm, slash play area slash garden centre as the reptile company that did BB’s party a couple of years ago where there with their reptiles.
So both the boys got to hold some reptiles.

I was really surprised that Boo actually held a leopard gecko, and a snake. He did really well as he is fascinated by these pets but isn’t as confident as BB is being he already owns two geckos.

BB held a leopard gecko, snake and a hissing cockroach. I could see his face as he held the cockroach, and it is not happening two geckos are enough!
We then went to the farm and saw lots of animals there including pigs, chickens, goats, ponys, donkeys and goats as well as alpacas and peacocks!

Yesterday was our busy day.
We thought we would give the boys a little Easter treat and took them up to London and went to the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N although to be honest I am not sure if it was a treat for the boys or for hubby.

They all absolutely loved it, Boo was in his element attempting to do things around all the different activities.
BB was in his element reading about all the facts and little bits of information you don’t get told within the film’s.
And Mr L just loved every moment of it.

It was a great treat for them, and traveling across London on Tube and in a London taxi was an absolute highlight for them.
When we finished it was still only late afternoon so we stopped off and took them to see Buckingham Palace after we had finished at Avengers.

It is something I have been meaning to do with them for a while, as I knew that it was something that BB would love. As he is a little bit of a royalist, but I haven’t taken them before as I wasn’t sure Boo would be that bothered.
In fact Boo loved seeing the Queen’s house and wanted to know where all her other houses where too!
He loved it as much as BB.

But amazingly Mr L had never been before either, so it was his first time there too!
Not sure how he managed that, and if I had known that before with the amount of times we go to London we would have definitely been to the Palace before now.
It was a lovely day in London and finished of the week nicely.
We have a couple of quiet days before another busy week next week for the last week before they go back to school after Easter Monday!

Looks like you all had a wonderful time and so many memories made. xx #ordinarymoments
