A New Era

Tomorrow Boo will get up early in the morning.

Eat his breakfast.

Get dressed.

And make his first steps into the unknown world of Primary School.

And it only seems like yesterday he was this small.

He is so excited.

He has been desperate to be at the same school as his brother for the last couple of years.

And tomorrow his dreams come true.

He is excited.

He has his shoes.

He has his clothes.

And he has his lunchbox.

The most important thing to him.

Tonight he took an age to get to sleep.

Not wanting to get to bed early.

But wanting to get up to go to school tomorrow.

He is ready.

Ready to learn.

Ready to make new friends.

Ready to start his school journey.

Ready to join his brother.

I am not sure if I am ready.

But I am going to try to be that’s for sure.

I am going to share his excitement.

His joy, and be just as happy as he is tomorrow!
