30 Days Wild
June is the month for the 30 Days Wild from The Wildlife Trust, where they challenge you to do something wild every day for the month of June.

I have to admit we have never done this before. I did sign us up for it last year but we didn’t actually do anything.
Then I saw some friends had signed up for last night and thought actually this is the year that both the boys would love it.
They are both into their wildlife and the 30 Days Wild isn’t complicated, it can be as easy as you want it to be.
As well as signing up, which you can still do here online and print of your pack, I have also downloaded the 30 Days Wild App which gives you wild ideas to do each day.
I had a quick look today and the first option that we got was to build a wild den, the second was to lift up a log and look for bugs. So you see it really can be that simple.
Yesterday we spent the afternoon on the beach and the boys were looking for crabs and sea worms the whole time they were there.
Last night I looked up making bird feeders and today we are off to buy some bird feed to put some bird feeders in our front garden to try to attract some birds.
I haven’t really thought of anything else we will be doing this month but we will be doing something wild every day so that we can participate in the 30 Days Wild and I will try to keep a record of it on here as well. Are you participating in 30 Days Wild, if you are I would love to know what you have been up too.

What a great thing to do Kerry. And this is the type of thing that the boys will remember when they are grown.
Thank you I hope so, we have held stag beetles, put up feeders for birds in the garden and today are doing flower pressing so hoping they will love doing all the different things.
