30 Days Wild Update
So we have been doing the 30 Days Wild for the last ten days now and to be honest it has been quite a lot of fun.

We haven’t done anything amazing, as I know what I am like and what the boys are like, if I made it too complicated and amazing then all of us would fall out of love with doing it as it would become a chore for us all.
We have done some really simple things the last few days, so that we can appreciate nature around us and where we actually live.
We live in a nature full part of the world with fields and flowers all around us and we really don’t appreciate it enough.
These last few days we have taken the boys on lots of bike rides, and walks just so they are outside and appreciating things around them. They have looked out for bugs and all sorts while we have been out. And have spotted a far few as well, stag beetles, normal beetles, ladybirds, ants and listening out for crickets.

We have put up lots of bird feeders in our front garden to try to attract some birds into the garden for a change. Nothing has happened yet but we are still hoping.

We have even found a few activities to do indoors when it has been raining as it has been doing that a lot this week. The one that the boys have really found fascinating was the flower pressing. They have never done anything like this before and we have a selection of flowers currently in our flower press for them to open later today.

So we haven’t done anything amazing or anything that has actually even cost us money so far, it has just been simple but easy little things that we have done on a daily basis. Just to help the boys really appreciate what is around us.
And they have loved it.
Going for bike rides, finding bugs, and going into woods near us that they have never experienced before. It really has opened up their eyes and really has made them think about where they live and what they have around them, right on their doorsteps.
