What The Boy Wants…

It isn’t often that Baba gets completely and utterly obsessed by something. But occasionally he gets something into his head, and he really wants it, and he loves everything about it.

He has two great loves in his life at the moment, one is Trash Packs and one is Angry Birds. He really wanted a Trash Pack birthday party and we managed to get him a Trash Pack birthday cake, and he was completely satisfied with that.

Months and months ago he asked for an Angry Bird room, specifically Angry Bird Space Room and we both thought that it would be a great little present to do for him as a present for being a big brother. We got searching the internet, as he previously had Winnie The Pooh stickers in his room and were looking for the same idea for Space Angry Birds. We found lots of different ones, and very nearly brought a selection, however something stopped us and then we lost Rhianna and his room became even more special to complete for him.

I decided that I could have a go at drawing the characters for him, and painting them on his wall for him. It has been a long time, since I got out my drawing stuff and painting stuff so I was quite nervous to be honest.

But over the few weeks, well it actually took months with the year we have been having, I really enjoyed drawing and painting the room for him.

The response that we got as well, has just been super fantastic.

“I love you Mummy, you’re the best Mummy ever doing my Angry Bird room”

“Mummy you are an artist aren’t you?”

“My room is the best in the world”

Along with all the wow’s and sitting watching me work, made everything all worth while.

But I have to say in the end I was really pleased with the outcome, and for the first time in Baba’s life, I think he didn’t just get what he wanted he got more than he ever could think he wanted.
