What Are You Going To Do?
Ever since our house was put on the market, it is a question that we get asked daily.
Your house is up for sale, what are you going to do?
The truth is we really aren’t that sure.
We could sit on our house for the next year and it may not sell, but we aren’t in a hurry so that isn’t a problem.
We both love our house, we really do, and ideally if we could keep it we probably would.
But there are so many other things that we want to do.
And not having the house would make a lot of them probably come true.
For one we want to travel, and we aren’t talking a world long trip, but trips still the same.
Our kids aren’t kids to sit by a pool every day, in fact none of us are.
But they are kids that love cities, they love museums they love exploring.
But at the same time they love the ocean, they love running along the beach, looking for animals and just being free.
And we want them to experience that.
We want to take them places they would never experience from just staying here.
That is the biggest driving force behind this move the fact that we want the boys to experience the world.
We want them to grow and learn via what is around them.
That is the only thing that is certain.
Where we will live and what we will do, who knows.
Will we rent, will we buy, will we stay, will we leave?
Right now we have no answers.
I just know that I don’t want to wake up in 20 years and the boys never experienced things that can only be experienced by exploring and taking a leap of faith because we had the house.
But to what we are going to do until we are in a position to start making a decision because we have an offer on the house, none of us can tell you what we are planning on doing.
And what we will even be doing next year right now!
