Tropic Tuesday – Body Smooth Refreshing Polish
If you have ever been to one of my pampers or one of my open houses you will have tried the founding product from Tropic – Body Smooth Refreshing Polish.
This was the product that started the Tropic journey, first being made in a kilner jar in Susie’s mums kitchen and being sold at Greenwich Market.
This product has gone through a few different looks, when I originally joined Tropic it was in a tub, but a few launches ago Susie changed it back to its original look. All in a gorgeous fabric bag with a wooden spoon and in a jar.
It is an absolutely gorgeous product and one that I sell to a variety of people, from mum’s, to nans, to builders this product is for everyone.
It is for anyone looking for soft, supply, glowing fresh skin but is amazing for people that have super dry skin and feel that a moisturiser isn’t really enough to hydrate and keep their skin feeling soft. It is also amazing for people that suffer with ingrown hairs, the polish will become a firm favourite if this is an issue for you. And in the past I have discovered it is an amazing natural product to get food dye off your hands after making a batch of playdoh!
So what is it this Body Smooth? It is an award winning (Beauty Shortlist Awards 2018 – Winner) nourishing Body Exfoliator for super smooth and soft skin. But it doesn’t just exfoliate. It exfoliates, nourishes, repairs and hydrates your skin all in one. Leaving you with the most softest, smoothest skin.
The mineral rich sea salts are a gentle but thorough exfoliator that remove dead skin cells and polish your skin to perfection. Leaving your skin refreshed and no longer looking dull.
Golden Jojoba, and Macadamia Oil deeply hydrate and soften your skin, leaving your skin silky in texture and nourished.
Lemon Myrtle, Bergamot, and Lime Essential Oils give this Body Smooth a refreshing almost good enough to eat citrus scent that also has antibacterial properties to deeply cleanse and purify your skin.
Each Body Smooth comes in a glass jar, with a wooden spatula and this is to prevent you from shortening the shelf life of the product. This is a 100% Naturally Derived product and it will remain at its best if you do not put your hands into the product and use the spatula to apply the salts onto your skin.
It is super easy to use, get some salts onto your spatula and gentle massage them onto dry skin before your shower or bath. If you focus on rough or dry patches, like your knees or elbows then the Body Smooth will really work wonders on these areas.
Once you have rubbed in all the salts, rinse them all away with warm water and you will notice that the sea salts leave remaining oils on your skin from the Body Smooth. Massage these into your skin for extra hydration and smoothness.
This really is a gorgeous luxury item that can easily been used at home whenever it is needed and gives you the ultimate experience.
It is £24 for 200ml and as with everything that is Tropic a little goes a very long way and it is perfect to be added to your routine two or three times a week, so that your skin feels refreshed, smooth and healthy looking.
