Summer Days

Today we have had a very chilled day, after spending all day in the garden yesterday sorting it all out we took full advantage of the garden today.

As soon as the boys got up we all had breakfast out in the garden, before that I had a real treat and sat in the garden drinking my morning coffee and it was lovely sitting out there before anyone else woke up.

We headed out to the youth cinema today and once we were home the boys had their lunch in the garden.

Later in the day they were back out in the garden having their tea.

After tea I made a coffee and we all had a game of cards while we were waiting for Mr L to come home from work.

And we then all spent the evening outside until the boys went to bed.

It has been so nice to finally use the garden as a part of the house.

They have been up at the table writing, drawing, eating and playing on the trampoline and playing with the dogs while I have been cracking on with tidying and sorting out the house the afternoon.

It means that they have actually stepped away from the TV and been outside doing other things.

And it is so nice to have more space at home, another table that we can sit at and eat at and it means we can eat around the dogs while they chill out on the grass.

It seems mad that a table and chairs and gazebo can make such a huge difference to your home but it really really can!
