And That’s The End Of The School Year

And just like that BB finishes year five and Boo finishes year R at school.

It’s the first year they have both finished together and go back together as before Boo was always at nursery and finished or started at different times to BB and actually as I write this it will be the only year they will finish a school year together and start the next one together as next year BB will be in secondary school.

It only seems moments away that Boo was preparing for that last summer before school started. And it only seems minutes away that BB was as well.

Time flies so quickly when they are at school and it really does disappear in a blink of an eye.

I have plans for this summer.

Plans for us all to get along and not be arguing with each other all day long and I hope we can achieve them.

But we started strong with the first day of the holidays.

We started the morning with bacon sandwiches and juice boxes for breakfast as it was the last day of term.

And we finished the day down the beach with friends.

The kids had an amazing time, in the sea, on the park and just playing and being free.

They had ice creams, they had fun and they finally got to cool after the super hot day today.

I am hoping for a lay in tomorrow after all the running around and swimming.

Tomorrow is day one of forty one days of holidays and I intend for the boys and I and Mr to enjoy every single minute of it!
