Spring Is Coming

The weather has certainly felt more spring like this half term.

Meaning that we have got out more and have managed days out and trips to our favourite place the beach.

Today we headed to one of the beaches near us, one that we don’t often to go to and we usually forget is near by.

But one that the kids love as there is loads to do along the seafront.

We are lucky where we live we are surrounded by a load of beaches within just an hours drive.

As we are so lucky we often forget about the places we can go.

Today the boys had a good run along the seafront, they got doughnuts on the beach and had a chance to throw stones into the sea.

All with the sun shining.

It was a lovely day, the wind was blowing, but not so strong that it was freezing it was just the right temperature in fact. Not too hot and not too cold. Just perfect.

It makes a massive difference getting the boys out each day, and getting out in the natural air is a great way to get rid of the bugs and germs that we have had in our house for weeks now it seems.

Spring is one of the seasons that I really love along with Autumn. I love the change in the weather and the colours it brings. But I also love that we can get outside and not have to be totally covered up, or having to lather ourselves in sunscreen.

It just means we can mooch and have fun.
