It is the holidays and we are having a major sort out!
We are moving animals into new homes, from upstairs to downstairs.
Sorting out toys, getting rid of the old and finding space for the ones we use, and getting some forgotten ones back out.
We are sorting out clothes, sorting them out into ages and packing them all away in case they ever need to be used.
We are decorating Baba’s bedroom, which is a long process on its own. But we will get there.
But more than anything we are trying to create an art area for Baba and a play room. We have a spare bedroom upstairs and it will be fantastic to make it into a big huge playroom/chill out room. With all of Baba’s big toys and a place for all of his art work to be displayed meaning that his friends and him can run up there and play around.
It is a massive space and I am a little daunted about the size and what to do with it to be honest. I can’t seem to think how to organise it the best! I keep looking and keep getting stumped. I am sure that I will get some inspiration soon, but currently there isn’t. I think I need to go hunting, searching out some ideas and get some inspiration.
So any of you have playroom? How did you set your’s out?
I have been tasked with a sort out today. Our spare room is usually full of clean laundry waiting to be put away (or worn :D) so the boys play in the living room or their bedroom. We didn’t get round to decorating their room before Spud was born (we moved in a week before) I LOVE your idea of an Art Space!!
It is still an idea unfortunately have not had a chance to do anything with it yet! I will one day xx
