Overlord Military Show

Yesterday we had a spontaneous day out, and found the Overlord Military Show that was running for the whole of this weekend.

We have never been to this show before or a show like it, and it was a complete fluke some friends found it.

It was a military show that had vehicles, clothes, guns and reinactments happening over the three days along with stalls and food.

It was something that we have never done before but something that we all enjoyed.

There were remote controlled vehicles going around the field while we were looking at stalls.

And there were old military and new military items for sale that all of the boys loved looking at in depth.

My boys loved looking at the old vehicles and were in awe at the D- Day reinactment that happened later in the day.

Even though Boo absolutely hates big bang’s and fireworks he was at the front of the audience for this with all the bangs and wasn’t at all bothered.

They both stood for the whole thing absolutely still in amazement at everyone who was acting it out.

It was something that we came across as a complete fluke, bit something that the boys really enjoyed and the fact that it is an event that raises money for military and local charities was also a bonus as it is something we all think is very important.

It is something that we will definitely be looking out for next May as it is only held on the last Bank Holiday weekend in May, and I think our two would love to go again.
