Not 100%

Baba isn’t 100% I am not really sure what it is but he just isn’t totally right.

Saturday he was very clingy and spent all day literally laid on my lap. I suggested lots of things to do as Mr L was working but everything got met with a no and we just sat on the sofa watching movie after movie. It meant I got lots of work done on the computer and Baba just completely rested. He had a little temperature late Saturday afternoon, so he was given some medicine before I went to work and then went up to bed with Mr L who spent the night with him incase he did one of his little tricks of rigors or a convulsion. Which is always a worry when he goes to bed with a temperature.

When I got back from work they were both asleep although Baba was still pretty hot. He woke a couple of times in the night (unusual) and was still groggy in the morning. But seemed to be full of cold, which we thought explained it all to be honest. We went to my mums for dinner on Sunday and Baba picked he didn’t eat a lot at all, which isn’t unusual when he is feeling poorly so we went that bothered. He did eat something, but was still drained and very tired so it was an early night for him on Sunday and he slept really well.

We decided that we would see how he was on Monday to see whether he was going to school or not. He woke up yesterday bouncing around saying that he wasn’t poorly anymore so of he went to school and although a little bunged up seemed a lot better. When I collected him from school, he seemed to have a spot under his mouth and a couple of spots on his stomach and back I instantly thought chicken pox as the one on his mouth looked very like that. But apart from that he seemed fine.

It was a sunny day yesterday, so we cleaned out the rabbit and spent some time outdoors, and then we gave Baba a bath hoping that if it was chicken pox more spots would come out. But nothing seemed to appear.

He ate well last night and was asleep very early for him, and slept all through the night not waking until nearly 9.30am this morning now this is unheard off. Baba only ever sleeps in if he is poorly. He came downstairs and laid on the sofa with his Huggle buddy and hasn’t really moved since. He isn’t right there is something up with him, (although there are no more spots) but we are not 100% sure what it is. Today we are having a chilled out day and doing not a lot and just seeing if that gets on top of whatever Baba has.
