Nails, Nails, Nails

Now I have always had a bit of thing about nice nails.

I am a person that will have gel nails, acrylic nails and love to have pretty looking nails.

I am also a person that loves to play with nail painting.

Doing a nail course and starting my own little business has been something I have debated for years. Eleven in fact thanks to my Facebook memories I know that. I have never actually got around to booking it but it has always been something I think I would love and enjoy and be ok at!

But that really is another tale.

However in this lockdown someone suggested that I painted my own false nails and actually it was suggested that I sell them.

I thought about it and looked into it. I am not in a place to sell them at all, and am not wanting to, but it doesn’t mean I can’t have a play myself.

The other day I sat and thought I would have a go. I had a set of false plain nails that needed to be painted and with some household items, mainly blue tac, tooth picks and a lap tray, I started painting some nail art designs on them before wearing them.

There must be some sort of tool out there that enables you to paint individual nails before you start to wear them. Honestly have been looking for a while and for the life of me can’t find it. I am probably not looking for the right thing, so if anyone knows the exact name please let me know. I’m fairly certain blue tac and tooth picks isn’t the way forward!

Once I painted them, I let them dry and then stuck them on with some nail glue I had lurking around at home.

Now there are a lot of things that aren’t right with them.

They are a little wonky, they are a little smudged.

Some decent nail varnish is definitely needed. Any recommendations I will happily take on board.

But I really love them for a first attempt.

It really is something I would do again.

As I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed painting them, and I do love them. Even though I can see all the things wrong with them.

So I am now looking for recommendations for a nail holder thing for painting individual false nails. Some decent nail varnish to paint the said individual nails with, oh and decent nail glue. Any ideas then please let me know!
