My Gratitude Journal

I love my gratitude journal and I have written about it a few times now.

But in this very uncertain world at the moment I think these journals are even more important than they have been before all this started.

I have had this journal for a while now.

I wrote in it on the 24th November 2019 for the first time.

And I have written in it every single day since then.

And I truly love it.

I don’t write a huge amount of stuff in it daily.

In fact all I write is just three things I am grateful for that day.

And they can really be simple things.

Sometimes it is just nice weather and a good sleep.

Some things it is more in depth things.

Having a nice day out or something specific that one person has done.

But it is always a minimum of three things.

And sometimes I have written more than three. But not very often.

I decided to make it this simple so that I keep to it.

It is something I do every night before I go to bed.

And it means that I end the day on a high and go to bed on a positive.

And it really makes a difference with how I feel.

I honestly think it has massively helped with my mental health over the last few weeks and it is lovely to look back on like I did today over the last few months about the things that have really made me feel good about that day.

It is an amazing simple thing to do daily to make yourself see the positives of the day and something I would recommend to everyone.

If you don’t yet have a gratitude journal it really is a great thing to start using and get into the habit of competing daily at the moment!

All you need is a notebook, pen and a couple of minutes every night before bed.
