My Craft Area

When we moved all our bedrooms around and Mr L and I moved back up into the top room of the house and made the spare room into a games room for the boys I lost my craft room!

I used to have a room completely dedicated to just my craft stuff, with an area for scrapbooking and sewing.

Now I have this space upstairs.

The space is ok as it stores everything it needs to store.

However the problem I have with it is that I can’t actually do anything up here.

As you can see the desk is full, the space where a chair would go is full and the top is full.

There is literally no space to scrapbook, draw, or sew.

And it needs to change.

I have really slacked with my scrapbooking and sewing and I want that to change in the new year.

So I need a different set up.

On that will actually work, unlike the one that I have at the moment.

But also one that won’t completely take over our bedroom, as this room is most importantly our bedroom!

I am a little unstuck with what to do, I honestly think I need to get rid of the desk and buy something new for where the desk is and make it an area that I can actually use rather than just the storage area it currently is.

So I am looking for ideas, if you have any then please shout and let me know.
