Movie Night

Tonight we are having movie night in our house.

We all love movies and the boys have sat to watch movies from as young as 14 months old, and love chilling out watching a movie or heading to the cinema.

The boys will often have a sleepover downstairs and watch a movie together.

But every so often we will separate the boys so that BB doesn’t have to watch a movie that is ok for Boo and can pick something a little bit more exciting and something he can watch that him and I would like or something him and Mr L would like.

Tonight we have split so I am watching a movie with Boo.

And his teddies dog dog, chilli and snakey and we are upstairs watching The Trolls and BB and Mr L are downstairs watching a movie together on the sofas.

It is such a simple idea that we have done some the boys watched movies.

It’s easy.

The boys love it as a treat, especially on a Friday night as it definitely means it’s no school the next day if you have a movie night.

It’s free.

Unless we order a movie, which then is still not that expensive.

It’s great for one to one time.

It means the boys get attention from just me or Mr L for the movie and that is why we alternate who watches what with who.

It is so simple but means the world to the kids and really is so so easy to do with them on a regular basis.
