Zippos Circus – AD

We love the circus as a family, and have been a few times to local circuses over the years.

The boys love the acts, even though Boo is not a lover of clowns he manages to hide in my arms until they disappear. But is in total awe of the other acts.

The more daring the better for both of the boys.

The circus is always something that the boys ask to do, as soon as they see a big top up near us they want to know how long the circus is up for and whether we can visit while it is there.

One circus that Mr L and I have looked at regularly is the Zippos Circus. This is one that looks amazing and one that we have wanted to take the boys too for a while, but always seem to miss when it is near to us.

But this year we haven’t.

This year Zippos Circus will be at Guildford from the 1st to the 6th of October and we have been gifted tickets to the circus on the 1st of October, which we are all so excited about.

This year Zippos Circus Big Top 2019 tour – The Magnificent Top Hat –is celebrating 21 years since Ringmaster Norman Barrett MBE first appeared at Zippos Circus.

Norman Barrett MBE is the World’s Greatest Ringmaster, and holder of the Guinness World Record for the longest-serving Ringmaster, Norman will present a spectacle like no other as astonishing acrobats and aerialists, amazing contortionists, clever comics and daredevil motorcyclists come together for this year’s magnificent production.

The thrilling Brazilian Lucius Team of five motorcyclists in the famous Globe of Death will take centre stage plus, and returning by popular demand is Paulo Dos Santos – a brilliant 3 foot 6 inches tall showman, acrobat and martial artist. They will be joined by a colourful troupe of artists from all around the world including foot jugglers, Kenyan tumblers, Cuban Springboard acrobats, knife throwers, contortionists and dancers.

We are so excited for this circus, and I can not wait to sit there and watch all of these acts and have my camera ready to get a huge amount of photos!

Zippos Circus is touring until the end of October you can see where they are and get tickets here.

Each show is two hours long with an interval, under 2s are free if they are not in a seat, and tickets start from £7.50 per child and £9.00 per adult (15 and above) and with the discount code ZIP50 you can get 30% off all your tickets!
