Marwell Zoo
Yesterday we went to Marwell Zoo with Mr L’s family. We have been there lots in Baba’s little life, and he loves the place. He loves seeing the animals and he never seems to get tired of looking at everything.
He has never managed to do the whole of the park without having to crash out in the pushchair, or at least sit down for the majority of the day. This time, he sat down for a minimal amount of time, and actually walked round pretty much every where. I think the next time we go there will be no need for a pushchair! How will we carry all the picnic stuff! Lol.
Baba got the map as soon as we arrived and was ready to tell us where we were all going!

We had an extra treat this time, as we got to see a tarantula out when the keeper brought him out, Baba was fascinated as he really wanted to hold him and stroke him. Unfortunately we weren’t allowed as if they fall of your hand onto the floor they can die! Never knew that before but Baba was really good, he accepted it and was just happy to look at the spider!

Even though I am not a great spider lover they are pretty magical creatures I think. I was amazed that it just stayed completely still on the keepers hand really interesting!
We have got a real animal freak on our hands, Baba wouldn’t leave the monkeys until they came out from their house. He studied the baby snow leopards he was fascinated with the kangaroos, and hippos, anything and everything there fascinated him.
At the end of the day all he wanted was a face painting.

And what else was he going to be…
A snake of course!
