Let’s Talk That C Word – Christmas

Let’s talk about that C word – Christmas.

It’s something none of us like to mention to early, but it is something that I have been thinking more and more about recently.

Once the boys went back to school I thought that I had really better get started on some Christmas shopping, as to be totally honest with you I am a bit concerned with Covid that I may not have long to actually shop rather than just online shopping. I think I need to be a little more organised than I usually am every other year.

So last week I headed out on Wednesday and started getting a few bits.

Nothing huge.

But a lot of little bits for various people.

So at least I have attempted a start on the shopping.

Over the next few days I want the boys at least to write down a list of things they would like and want to pool some ideas together for other people.

I then want to try to develop a list myself of what we can get people so I know what I am looking for and what is needed.

I need to get out my bullet journal and get planning I think.

This year I don’t want to be running around at the last minute, firstly because it becomes far too stressful, secondly I am not sure we are going to be able to do it, and thirdly this year I definitely want to spread the cost out a bit better than we usually do.

I am a little stumped however, nothing is really shouting out at me for the boys this year and having birthdays as well before Christmas I am not 100% sure what either of the boys will be getting for birthday or Christmas. It is definitely the year they need to do lists.

I do need some inspiration for their bigger gifts if you have any amazing ideas for a 12 year old and 7 year old then please do let me know, I will be very grateful.
