Knitting a Glove

I have got quite good at knitting my squares over the years, but still haven’t been that adventurous in knitting other things.

But I decided that I would try my hand at knitting a pair of gloves.

This is by no means perfect but I am quite pleased with my first glove and being that it is my first ever attempt at this I am pleased with how it has turned out.

I could have done with them a little longer I think when I wear them but as I say for my first attempt I am pleased.

Now I have to finish the next glove and make it the same size as this one. This could be more of a challenge than the first we shall see.

I do want to challenge myself to knit a few other things rather than just throws and blankets as I will never get more confident unless I attempt it.

And you have to start somewhere don’t you.

I can’t wait to get the other glove finished now so that I can wear them through the winter months and actually use something that I have knitted!
