A Crafty Day

So after writing a whole blog post about the fact that I was nearing the end of making myself a pair of gloves I had to admit defeat yesterday.

I could not get the second glove to work out at all and after four attempts at getting it finished I totally gave up and decided that those gloves where not the ones for me.

So I scraped the idea I put the pattern back in the folder of patterns and I searched for another set of gloves.

And have been working on them on and off for most of the days. Already I am finding them easier and I love how they are turning out so far!

In between working on the gloves I have been working on another project in the house.

This is something I have wanted to do for a while and it is no where near finished but hopefully by the weekend it will all be completed.

But it is started!

And I am super happy.

Today I chalkboard painted the middle cupboard in our upstairs hallway.

And I totally love it.

I can’t wait to get the chalkboard pens and finish this off at the weekend!

But it is started and it is starting to take shape and I love it already!
