Knitted Cushion Cover
For Christmas I got a knit your own cushion cover kit from my niece and nephew.
It was in a box with the needles, instructions, and wool.
It looked far too complicated, and involved cable knitting.
Which to be honest I was a bit scared about attempting to, as it looked really complicated.
However when I started it was actually really easy.
I have followed patterns to make my blankets but am not that confident in following a pattern to make anything else. So this was a first for me too.
But again I found it quite easy.
So I have ditched the next blanket for the last month and have just been working on this cushion, not every day but when I have knitted it has been this cushion.
Once it was completed I was really impressed.

I love that it looks really complicated when actually it wasn’t that hard to do.

In all the cushion is just 10inches by 10inches so it isn’t that big, but its a perfect size to have on our bed as a little feature cushion.

And one that I think I will make again, as I love things in three and also I have this gorgeous pink and white wool that I want to use and this pattern will be lovely for that wool.
