Juice Plus, and A Size 16

Two weeks ago I decided that enough was enough, I have no control over food, I really don’t give me a diet and I will find a way to cheat it. I started talking to a couple of old school friends who have had great results with Juice Plus and I decided that this was the way forward for me.

It was easy to get started, and involved me having a week-long detox and only eating clean foods, and getting my body rid off all the rubbish. I signed up for the Vanilla shakes and have replaced my breakfast and lunch with a shake that I also put fruit into. And I am loving it.

Basically Juice Plus is a complete 100% natural whole food that is made up from 17 fruit and veg in each shake. It is called a complete shake as that is all you need to have, but you can add fresh or frozen fruit to it as well. And I love varying the fruits, having tried strawberries, bananas, cherries and apples so far.

For my main meal I try to make it as clean as possible, full of veg and make sure I have healthy snack throughout the day, sticking to my five fruit and veg and basically filling my body with good food rather than rubbish food.

And you know what I love it.

I have never felt this good, I have lost the mid afternoon slump where at 4pm I could happily curl up on the sofa and fall asleep.

I sleep at night, I have always suffered with insomnia and I am finally sleeping, and sleeping well I wake up feeling ok rather than feeling that I have to go back to bed.

I am not moody and I am grabbing the healthier options with food. I am drinking more water than I have ever drank before and just feeling better full stop.

And I am loosing inches.

I don’t actually have scales at home, so I don’t know my weight, but I do know my inches and they are going down.

Tuesday I thought that my clothes felt loose, so I thought I would try on a pair of size 16 trousers, ones that I haven’t fitted in since Baba was christened and they actually fitted, tight but they fitted. But I put it down to they were probably were old and a little stretched and didn’t think anything of it. Yesterday when we went shopping I thought I would just try.

Walking into a changing room with a size 16 pair of shorts was something I have not done for a long time, but I tried them on and they fitted. A little snug I will admit but still fitted, and were good enough to buy the only reason I didn’t is because the shorts where actually too small in length if they had been longer they would have been brought.

I walked out of that changing room feeling good. Getting into a dress size smaller than I have done for years felt so good and I don’t need to see what the scales say I know that I have lost weight I can see it going and I am so happy.

I am so pleased I made the move to Juice Plus, it isn’t for everyone but for me it is and was the right thing to do, and I will be in that wedding dress in 44 days looking fab and feeling great, because between now and then I am going to eat well and look after my body and make sure what I put in is good clean healthy food!
