I didn’t think it would cause this much pain

I thought out of everyone you would understand

I thought you would be happy

I never thought it would turn out like this

I never thought I would be so sad

And I never thought you would act like you did

I would say sorry, but unfortunately there’s no one to listen

I have tried

There’s nothing else that can be done

Nothing else that can be said

I just thought you would have been the one to understand
