Harry Potter Funkoverse Strategy Game
One thing that has come out of this very strange year is that Mr L and I don’t do a lot together at home.
We do a lot together outside of the house. We go to the cinema a lot, we go to dinner a lot. But obviously when that was all stopped we don’t actually do a lot in the evenings together.
The boys go to bed and either Mr L goes to bed at the same time or we watch TV and nine times out of ten he will fall asleep or I may fall asleep occasionally or one of us is on our phone doing nothing but still on it.
We don’t actually do much else at home.
And we wanted to change that.
Mr L has been talking about strategy games for a while now, that we should buy some and play them in the evening.
Yesterday I finally gave in and we brought this. It was reduced and only £19 so we thought we would try it as it was a reduced price.

It isn’t a game or type of game either of us have ever played before and to be honest we have had to study it to even understand how to set it up.
But we did manage to get it set up and started a little game last night to try to work it out.

It is something that I definitely need to play a few times before I really 100% get what I am doing with it.
But it was really nice to actually be doing something together that wasn’t just sitting watching TV.
That wasn’t sitting watching the other one on their phone or being asleep.
Doing something that actually meant we were doing something together for a change.
And I think it is a fab idea to get a few more non young child board games so that Mr L and I can play them of an evening and actually chat and spend some time together.
