Hot Hot Hot Days

Yesterday was a scorcher of a day.

And it looks like today will be pretty much the same.

I have to say we aren’t really a family that loves the heat.

I don’t mind it if I can sit by a fan and not move.

BB isn’t a fan because of all the sunscreen he needs.

And Boo well he is absolutely diabolical in the heat.

He does not cope with it.

He doesn’t like it.

He really doesn’t know what to do with himself or how to keep cool.

He is a kid that never stops.

His imagination is immense and he is always throwing himself around on the floor and doing supermoves.

Things that make him even hotter on the hottest day.

It is something that he really really struggles with.

And yesterday we had a lot of tears.

A lot of upset and a hell of a day.

It was super hard.

It didn’t matter how much we told him. To chill out. Calm down. Have a drink.

He just couldn’t cope.

He hated the weather he hated everything and everyone yesterday.

The boy is never destined to be in a hot country all the time.

I am hoping over the next few days he may cope a little better than he did yesterday.

But I really am out of ideas on what else I can do to try to make him feel cool in this heat!
