Clean House, Clean Mind

Yesterday Baba spent the day at his Nannies with Mr L while I blitzed the downstairs. I completely cleaned out the kitchen, washed down the cupboards cleaned the windows, and the windows in the lounge. I cleaned the hall doors, I sorted through the downstairs shoe cupboard. I loved every moment of it. Some times cleaning can be very satisfying.

I managed to get upstairs and do the bathroom. But I still have Baba’s room, the ironing, our bedroom, and the study to do. These three are the worse rooms in the house. I think I have enough ironing to last me a fortnight and I hate to think how long the study will take there is so much rubbish in there and so much paper work I think that it will take a couple of days on its own.

So today I am in a pickle. I really want to do some thing with Mr L and Baba obviously, as I never get to see them and next Saturday I am in London so I wont be around then. But at the same time, I really want to get on with sorting out the house, I have loads of work coming up, writing wise and I can not get into it with all the mess around the house. So what to do! It is a tough one and I am not really sure at the moment! Decisions decisions hey!
