Boo Finishes Nursery

So last week, this little dude went to nursery for the last time!
He did his last nursery sports day, and saw all of his nursery friends for the last time.
As he finished for the summer holidays ready for his six week holiday before he starts the primary school in September.
I am not really sure how this has happened so quickly but it has.
We seemed to have blinked and before we knew it we are now preparing for big school.
He is so ready for big school.
Moving him last year from preschool to nursery was the right move for Boo.
He cried a lot at the beginning and I am sure that we are probably going to head that way with primary school, he is not at all like his brother and takes a long time to settle.
But once we got over the crying stage, he settled beautifully.
The nursery focused massively on outdoor play and it was everything that Boo needed, along with hot food!
His eating is still bad, it always be I think compared to his brother who eats everything except peppers, but his willingness to try has improved massively. He will attempt things, 9 times out of 10 he still hates them. But he has actually taken a bite before he spits it out, rather than just looking at it on his plate and refusing anything else on his plate because there was something new.
Somewhere within nursery life Boo has developed a love for numbers and will quite often tell me that 2 + 2 = 4 or 1+5 = 6, I am not sure where this love comes from, but it is exclusive for maths, he knows what letters are in his name and that is all he cares about.
He has some firm friends, and even the girl he will go onto marry at nursery and there is a gorgeous group from his nursery all going up to his big school, which is totally unlike his brother, as he started big school on his own, and was not at all bothered.
It is the end of an era for Boo and for us.
His ends are final as they are the last one for us.
There will be no more nursery, no more first schools, no more big school transition days.
Nursery’s, preschools and toddler years are now behind us!
When BB was waiting to go into big school, Mr L and I were secretly waiting for Boo to arrive.
So this is completely new territory for us as a whole family.
We were barely out of the toddler nursery years before we headed straight back into the baby years.
This time we leave them and we leave them behind.
When Boo goes to school the house will be quiet, it will be me and the dogs, and Tropic and Blogging.
It is a completely new start to our very different life!
Boo can not wait, he is so ready for big school.
He is so ready to be there every day.
He is ready to be going into school with his brother.
And he is ready to soak up every piece of information that is thrown his way.
But for now we are going to enjoy our summer, his last before school!
And make lots of memories and have a lot of fun before the school shopping starts and the real preparing for big school happens!

Aww so cute. Hope you have the best summer xx
Thank you and you too xx
