Boo 7 Months Old

Boo is now 7 month’s old, I am a little scared at how quickly this time is going.

So much has changed in the last month and he seems to be growing at such a speed, you blink and you literally miss it.

He now sits for quite a while, we still have the falling and he can’t actually stop him self from falling, but the sitting is longer than it used to be. He loves to sit and bounce they are his favourite things to do.

Anything that means he is a little closer to the Baba is good for Boo. He loves to move, he rolls around the floor at lightening speed, and is now pulling his knees and bottom up and rocking!

He is a belly sleeper, or a side sleeper, we put him on his back and within minutes he rolls over. Every night he ends up on his belly or side, and it doesn’t matter if we move him he still ends up in the same way. If he sleeps on his belly, he sleeps with his knees and bottom up just like Baba did when he was little. It is a tad cute that he sleeps like his big brother.

He loves his toys and we seem to be getting some firm favourites now. He has a tiger and a monkey that he totally adores, but the last few weeks anything he can chew is a must. He has a teeny tiny tip of a tooth on his bottom gum, but his whole mouth seems rock hard and I am half expecting to wake up to a mouthful of teeth one day, wouldn’t that be amazing! But he seems to be in for the long haul with his teething, totally unlike his brother. Baba already had two by the age of four months, and then they just whizzed through, Boo seems to be teasing us, we can see them, we can feel them, but nothing is actually happening. So we will just wait and hope they come through properly soon.

We have progressed with food, and Boo loves it.

Anything we have given him he loves. We are slowly moving to three meals a day, and he seems to love his fruit and his veg. Everything has now moved to a rustic mashed state, and he loves to munch on  anything that will soothe his gums, and he loves a rusk which seem to be one of his favourite foods at the moment.

All in all he is growing fast, he is developing tastes and we are slowly but surely getting him used to a little water, rather than just his formula milk. It is something he is not too sure about, but we are trying to get him used to it when he is eating and today we had quite a bit of success with it after his lunch of sweet potato and broccoli mash!
