The Lost World Zoo Exhibition
Anyone who knows Baba knows that he is a Lego lover.
We have stacks of it, and his rooms full of it. He has loved it since he was little and played with mega blocks, but it seems as the pieces have got smaller, his love for the Lego has grown.
So you can imagine his excitement when we realised that the Lost World Zoo Exhibition that was at Milestones was on tour, and there were exhibitions at Eastleigh and Aldershot museum.
The exhibition is all about extinct animals made out of Lego. Two of Baba’s favourite things.

We went to the Eastleigh museum, which was free to enter but I think is the smaller of the two exhibitions.
Baba didn’t care as soon as he walked in he was excited.

He loved seeing the animals made out Lego, learning about the animals and seeing how long and how many Lego bricks were needed to make each one. He literally was in his idea of heaven.
I have to say I was pretty impressed myself.

The detail included in each animal was amazing. It was impressive to see.
Eastleigh museum is very small, but free, however even with a massive Lego and animal lover actually looking around Baba was done in half an hour. They did have activities on as well but we arrived very late in the day so missed out on these.
However we did get told the Aldershot museum’s Lost World Zoo was larger and we are planning on visiting before it closes down, and for only £8.70 for a family of four I really think it is a nice cheap day out.
So if you have a Lego lover then I would recommend if you are in the area checking these out, both tours are open until July 12th 2014. You can find out about Eastleigh museum here, or Aldershot museum here.
