This week has been a great week, we have had fun with my niece staying and Baba has loved having his first sleepover. All in all it has been a fantastic week.
Although now I am paying for it. I haven’t had any help with Baba this week and as it is the holidays he has got no school for the next two weeks so I don’t have that either. And I wont lie it has been hard work. I have been trying to work around him. Which has worked to a certain extent with some things being forgotten. Mainly the house.
I am sitting in a bombsite I really am, there is so much that has to be done to the house, but I don’t know whether I am incapable or whether I have been spoilt with Baba going to his grandparents so much. But I find it really hard to sort the house out with Baba. Is it just me?
I know what you are all going to say sort it at the weekend, but unfortunately Mr L is working all weekend and I have got to work as well. The website needs updating, the shops need sorting, I need to make five more things, and need to write some articles. So we are both really busy. So today needs to be the day to tidy the house up!
I am not 100% sure how I am going to do this and there is no help at all today, but somehow we have got to get it all sorted. So wish me luck, if you have any fantastic tips or ideas then please do let me know as I need to keep a two year old entertained today while blitzing. I want to know how all you people have clean houses with children and animals?
I know how you feel hun. I’m in exactly the same position. My house is a shit tip and I have so much writing to do. I’m wayyyyy behind with BDT and my blog hasn’t seen a unique post, apart from memes, for days!

My top tip is to leave it. Do the hygienic things like wipe round bathroom, clear up kitchen, but otherwise, you are spending time with Baba and working, so you can’t do it all. That’s what I tend to do now in holidays, but then have a good blitz when pre school, starts again.

Simple answer: I don’t!!! There is no way to do it all. When I’m at work, I can’t be at home cleaning and when I’m at home I need to be with Chick or cooking etc. Generally our house ALWAYS looks like a bombsite because there just aren’t enough hours in the day. I also don’t tend to sleep much 😉 Good luck getting everything sorted xx
