Baba’s First Sleepover

Baba had his first sleepover at our house on Tuesday his cousin came to stay, next week we have her brother coming to stay as well so it is all very exciting.

We weren’t sure how it was going to go, as he has stayed at my sisters with them before but they have never actually been asleep in the same room before so we weren’t 100% sure they would sleep.

But they were a dream, they both got ready for bed beautifully and went up together. They had a story and after a slight incident with the dog getting into Baba’s bedroom, no one knows how, they went straight to sleep. They both slept straight through and were little stars.

It was really interesting seeing willing Baba was to do things that he usually hates to do, go to bed, be left in his room etc. He was a star and really loved having her to stay.

He got to do lots with her, painting, going to the beach, playing on the trampoline. It was lovely watching them both play, they really enjoyed all the time they had together. Baba just loves having someone else around it is so nice to see.

Mr L said on Tuesday that we should have another one as Baba loves having another child around so much, I told him to wait and see what he is like with our nephew. A five year old and a two and a half year old will be very different to a two and a half year old and a nine year old. Next week he may be saying that we will never have another child!
