Beach Day

Today the boys had a day that they could choose what they wanted to do.

They chose a walk along the beach.

It was pretty miserable at home, it was trying to rain, it was cloudy, windy and getting cold so we packed for all weather’s and headed that way.

But when we got there the beach was deserted and the weather was windy, but so sunny and really gorgeous down there.

It isn’t far but always amazing the difference in the weather between home and the beach.

It was a gorgeous walk and just what we all needed after a very miserable day weather wise yesterday.

And it was a perfect way to end the week for the boys.

Back in their favourite place.

Running, being free, and just enjoying being at the sea.

These boys of ours are destined to be beach bums.

One day they need to live by the sea.

It is in their blood, it doesn’t matter what mood they are in when we arrive they always leave the beach in a good mood, a happy, content and glass filled mood.

You can see their spirits lift up from the moment they set foot near the beach.

It is always going to be their special place.

I really can’t imagine that they will ever be far from the beach as it is where their heart is for sure!
