Back To Reality
So today sees us as a family back to reality.
After a stressful start to the holidays, trying to juggle working from home, and the children, I finally gave in three weeks ago and decided to have the rest of the holidays off with the boys.
It wasn’t a decision I took lightly, as I do hate having time of work. But it was the right decision, nothing was getting done well, and it was showing. I am pleased that I took the time of work.
It gave me time with the boys, it gave me time as a family, as Mr had a week of work as well. It was just what we needed.
It also gave me time to think.
Time to think about what I want, how to work things and where I want things to go.
It has been good.
Good for the soul, and good for the stress. I really do feel less stressed than I did three weeks ago.
I have had a few issues of how I have been working for a while, and I think, I hope that I have finally come up with a plan of how to work things out and have decided the best way forward.
I have some plans for this place as well, I don’t always just want to be writing complete dribble I want a purpose and I think that I have found it! But we shall see.
So today have a few weeks of lazy days, not waking until nine and spending a lot of time looking at the sea. We are back to normal. Baba is heading into year 2, I am starting studying and Boo and I are back to just being me and him in the day time.
It is an exciting time!
And I can’t wait to get into our new rhythm!
