An Autumn Beach Dog Walk
I haven’t been blogging a lot recently, we are all still settling into this school routine, and Mr L and I are both working loads. I am working every day that Baba is at school, and Mr L is working loads including Saturdays, so our only real family day at the moment is Sunday.
So on Sunday when the sun was shining we decided to get out the house and go for a nice long dog walk along the beach.

It was a gorgeous sunny day, we packed thinking that the beach may be a little cold. But it was so warm and lovely, and it really didn’t seem like an October day.
Baba was so excited about the beach, and we got there nice and early so that it was nice and quiet.

He got to kick the sand around, and he took his frisby so him and Daddy got to have a little game, while the dogs were running free. Tito has never been good at coming back without a lead, but Buddy has a bad case of separation issues from Mr L and he came back beautifully and Tito followed. They also stayed very close to Baba, and now that he is confident to run around himself, the dogs didn’t really leave his side.

All of them got lovely and wet, and ran around in the puddles, left from the tide going out. We didn’t get a chance to get Baba’s shoes off and trousers folded up before he got completely wet and in the water.
His homework this week was to find shapes and there were lots of shapes at the beach, we found triangles on sales, lots of different shells, and all the shapes that were left in the sand from sea worms and all the seaweed. He had a great time spotting the shapes and telling us what they were and how many sides they had.

It was refreshing to be at the seaside, it was relaxing, Mr L and I could chill, we could relax, we could laugh at Baba, and the dogs running around and just watch them all having fun. There is something about the beach, where you shut the car door and shut all the worries, stresses, and day-to-day life out of your life.
And then just have fun.
We spent a good hour on the beach before it started to get a little too hot and the dogs started to flag.
But it was a good hour, an hour where we all recharged and an hour where we all had fun, and Baba did some learning as well.

Some lovely quality family time together. What better place than the beach on such a mild autumn day, you have some great photos of Baba having lots of outdoor fun. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
Thank you he had a fantastic time and he is a proper beach bum which I love! xx
