You Think You Have It Cracked….

This was the statement that Mr L said to me today after the umpteenth time that we had to tell Baba off about something.

“You think you have it cracked, and then you realise it’s all tits up”

That is what we were both thinking. Baba has been unbelievably hard work today and neither one of us can fathom out why, whether there was a reason or whether it was us. It has led to us both being quite deflated today, both of us have been loosing the will to live throughout the day. It has also lead to us rowing as it has been such a bad day.

Nothing has seemed to go right and everything that has been asked of Baba he has just ignored and has done what he has wanted to anyway.

We have really struggled today, we have been hit, shouted at, had a child throw himself on the floor in the middle of a shop, run away in a shop and been screamed at. Everything that we have tried to do to discipline him has been thrown back in our faces, and neither of us have known what to do.

I have finished the day, feeling rotten like a rubbish mum, and not wanting to do anything. I had huge plans for this evening but instead have sat down and felt bad for myself. He has never been this hard before and I don’t want him to carry on like this. He is usually such a lovely, funny and caring child, that listens, knows his boundaries and does do as he is told. He is not usually this deviant, naughty, I am going to do what I damn well like kind off boy.

I want my usual boy back I don’t want this one to stay, so whoever has my normal loving, funny, and caring Baba please drop him off over night, take this naughty, little boy back with you. Thank you we will be totally grateful!
