Why???
It started Monday, Baba was climbing, so I told him
“Don’t do that”
“Why?” was the reply
“Because you will fall”
He was satisfied I breathed a sigh of relief, I thought the Why phase had started.
Tuesday he went to his nannies for the day, a passing comment as we left, “if he says Why once more I may just scream, that’s all he’s been saying all day.”
Wednesday he went to school, he came home and was starting to touch my art area that had a wet canvas on,
“leave that Baba”
“Why?”
“Because it is wet and you will get dirty”
“Why?”
“Because I don’t want you to ruin it”
“Why mummy?”
“Because I am your mum listen to what I say”
Yesterday I had a day full of Whys everything I said was met with “why?” “but why mummy?” “why?” It seemed a thousand times I got asked it, whether we were talking about chasing the dog, standing on the dog, drawing a circle, jumping off the sofa, making tea anything and everything met with “why”
I thought that my head was going to explode, this morning we have started off on the same foot. Hanging out the washing this morning Baba tried to climb on the patio table, when told not to the dreaded “why” reared his head.
When will this past?
How long will it last?
How the hell do you not loose your sanity through this?

Just say “why do you think”. Works brilliantly
Oh will have to try that thanks xx
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH <<< This is me screaming for you! I guess I'm going to have this all in time, at least you would of already been there before me so I can come to you for advice/help!!! ;o)
We have none apart from hold your breathe in and don’t scream xx
