Weddings!

So Mr L and I are going to get married!

It isn’t going to be for a long long time, but we have talked about getting married and we have some plans, we like to be different we don’t like to go with the flow. We don’t like to be crazy different but like to put our own mark on things, after all do like to be a little creative.

So our wedding will be more handmade than anything else, for a couple of reasons. We both want our personal stamp on it, and to make the whole day special to us. It is after all our day! But also the money is a huge factor, if we can cut some costs by making things ourselves, well I say that in a plural but it will be me, then that would be a great added bonus. I was explaining all of this to some crafting friends yesterday and the idea quickly progressed from an idea, to a project, to a feature in a magazine!

Yes you read that right, I am now officially going to be writing about our handmade wedding, more specifically I am writing about “Wedding Wonders With No Wonga” as the piece is going to be called, I will be doing an update in every issue of Creative Crafting which comes out every two months starting with the first piece in the August edition.
