Tie Dye T-Shirt Cushion
Yesterday we went to an event where the boys got to tie dye t-shirts.
BB was given a t-shirt that wasn’t going to fit him, so once it was dry his dad suggested making a cushion with it.
So today that’s what we did.
We made a really simple cushion one that we didn’t have to sew with so it took us about half an hour in all to make, and it meant I had a little one on one time with BB which is a rarity in the holidays!

We flattened out the t-shirt.

And made sure the cushion would fit.

We cut off the arms and all the seams.

And then cut a fringe around the edges to the size of the cushion.

We then put the cushion in the t-shirt and went around double knotting all of the pieces cut.

Within a few minutes, as BB knotted half and I knotted half to make it quicker! We had a completed cushion.
BB was really pleased he loves it.
I was really pleased.
It was super simple, super quick and so easy to make.
And it meant that all the work that he did tie dying the t-shirt in the first place hasn’t gone to waste.
And he know has a great little cushion for his room!
