My First Cross Stitch

That’s it I have finally completed my first ever cross stitch.

After what seems weeks and weeks of doing it, I have at last finished the final bits of this owl.

There are definitely some mistakes in this, and I know that I have done some things wrong and we definitely won’t discuss what the back looks like.

But it is finally finished and that is the main thing.

I wanted to finish it at the weekend, but just never had the time so pleased that I have finished it before the start of this weekend.

I have lots and lots of art projects that I have started that I haven’t finished and that are waiting to be started and it is my aim over the next few months to really crack on with them all.

This cross stitch being one of the first things that I wanted to finish.

I started this so many weeks ago and it has been sitting on our lounge table for ages, and it was something that I really wanted to finish off before I continued with anything else.

On top of the cross stitch, I have another blanket to finish knitting, and so much scrapbooking to do, it isn’t even funny.

But I am determined to make a dent in some of the projects that I want to get completed, there are so many that I don’t want to even write them all down because I think the list would actually overwhelm me as there are just so many!

My plan is to work through them regularly and consistently until the list gets smaller and the completed projects list gets longer.
